Day 1 Guwahati – Shillong

Arrive in Guwahati and proceed to Shillong by coach. Shillong, aptly named the "Abode of Clouds," is renowned for its stunning landscapes, serene culture, and beautiful waterfalls. En route, enjoy a boat ride on Umiam Lake (subject to operations). Arrive in Shillong in the evening. Extra Topping: Enjoy tea or coffee en route to Shillong.

Day 2 Shillong – Mawlynong Village – Dawaki – Shillong

Proceed to Mawlynnong village, renowned as Asia’s cleanest village. Here, you can enjoy the scenic beauty, explore the charming village homes, and marvel at the living root bridges. Later, visit Dawki village to experience a boat ride on the Umngot River, one of the cleanest rivers in India, where the crystal-clear water makes it appear as though boats are floating in mid-air. Also, visit the India-Bangladesh border at Tamabil. Return to Shillong in the evening.

Day 3 Shillong – Cherrapunji – Shillong

Proceed to Cherrapunji and visit Shillong Peak, the highest point in Meghalaya. En-route, stop for photos at Elephant Falls, and explore Nauklakiai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Also, see the Seven Sisters Falls, a spectacular seven-segmented waterfall, and the Ram Krishna Mission. Return to Shillong in the evening. Extra Topping: Enjoy tea or coffee at Cherrapunji. Day 4 Shillong – Tezpur

Visit the Don Bosco Museum, one of the most hi-tech museums in India. Proceed to Tezpur, an ancient city located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. En-route, stop at the Maha Mrityunjay Temple in Nagaon, known for its impressive 126-foot-tall Shivlinga dedicated to Lord Shiva. Arrive in Tezpur in the evening.

Day 5 Tezpur – Dirang

Proceed to Dirang, en route enjoying views of the Kangto and Gorichen peaks, the highest in Arunachal Pradesh, set against the majestic Himalayan landscape and snow-capped ranges. Stop at the Tipi Orchidarium, Asia’s third-largest, where you can see over 7,500 orchids from about 300 species. Arrive in Dirang by evening, an untouched gem nestled in the wilderness of Arunachal Pradesh. Extra Topping: Enjoy tea or coffee en route to Dirang.

Day 6 Dirang – Sela Pass – Tawang

In the morning, proceed to enjoy the scenic Sela Pass. En route, make a photo stop at the Dirang Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in India, with a history of over 500 years. Take in views of the Monpo village and the Kiwi garden in Dirang. Continue your journey to Tawang, crossing Sela Pass, which connects Tawang to the rest of India. Enjoy the picturesque Paradise Lake along the way and visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Arrive in Tawang, renowned for housing the largest monastery in India and the second-largest in the world, after the Potala Palace in Lhasa.

Day 7 Tawang

Visit the Tawang Monastery, also known as Ganden Namgyal Lhatse, a 400-year-old Mahayana Buddhist monastery. Explore its impressive collection of scriptures, gold-lettered texts, images, and tapestries. Don't miss the 18-foot-high gilded Buddha statue within the monastery. If operational, visit the Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, notable as the only Indian to attain such a prominent position in the Gelugpa sect of Buddhism. Enjoy a light and sound show at the Tawang War Memorial, subject to operational availability. Extra Topping: Enjoy tea or coffee in Tawang.

Day 8 Tawang – Bomdilla

Proceed to Bomdila, en route visiting the Gyangong Ani Gompa and Nuranang Falls, one of India’s most spectacular waterfalls. Upon arrival in Bomdila, explore the Bomdila Monastery and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges.

Day 9 Bomdilla – Kaziranga

Proceed to Kaziranga National Park, the oldest park in Assam, located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River and renowned for its population of the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros. **Extra Topping:** Enjoy tea or coffee en route to Kaziranga.

Day 10 Kaziranga

In the morning, enjoy an Elephant Safari (subject to operations). Proceed to Kaziranga’s National Orchid and Biodiversity Park, a haven for orchid enthusiasts and nature lovers. In the afternoon, embark on an exclusive Jeep Safari to explore the park’s diverse wildlife. Conclude your day with a spectacular local folk dance performance in the evening (subject to operations).

Day 11 Kaziranga – Guwahati

Proceed to Guwahati, the capital city of Assam, known for its natural beauty and rapid growth. Upon arrival, visit the Umananda Temple by boat (subject to operation), located on a small river island in the Brahmaputra. In the evening, embark on a dinner cruise on the Brahmaputra River, one of the largest rivers in the world, and enjoy the scenic views. Extra Topping: Enjoy coconut water at Umananda Temple.

Day 12 Departure from Guwahati

Visit the renowned Kamakhya Temple, Assam’s oldest temple and one of the 51 Shakti Pithas. After the visit, board your flight back to your hometown. The tour concludes.
