Upon landing at Kushok Bakula Rimpochhe Airport (11,562 feet), you'll be warmly welcomed by our representative. They will assist you with your transfer to the hotel for check-in. Given the high altitude of Leh, it's important to rest and acclimatize on your arrival day. Lunch and dinner will be served at the hotel to ensure you're well-nourished and comfortable.

Day 2: A Day Touring Indus Valley

After breakfast, set out for a tour of the Indus Valley Monasteries. Your first stop will be Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh, where you’ll explore its historic monastery. Next, visit Sindhu Ghat to see where the Indus River flows gracefully. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, an impressive structure perched on a hill, offering panoramic views and a glimpse into the region’s spiritual heritage. You may also visit Rancho's School (Druk Padma Karpo School), known for its unique design and role in local education. Day 4: Enjoy Camel Ride - Transfer Back to Leh

Day 5: Transfer to Pangong Lake - Stay in a Camp

After an early breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake, which is approximately a 145 km drive (about 5 hours) through the Changla Pass, situated at 5,486 meters. Pangong Lake, located at 14,000 feet (4,267 meters), is a stunning long and narrow basin, stretching over 130 km in length and up to 7 km at its widest point. The lake is bisected by the international border between India and China. You'll be mesmerized by the breathtaking landscape and the serene, pristine environment surrounding the lake. The scenery here is truly unforgettable. Spend your evening at leisure, taking in the tranquility of the area. Return to your camp for a delicious local dinner and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Leh - Enroute Visit Hemis

Wake up to a stunning morning by Pangong Lake and spend some time exploring the lake’s serene beauty after breakfast. Next, head to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, a revered site nestled deep in the Himalayas, built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to honor Guru Nanak Dev’s visit.
