Arrival in Guwahati. Transfer to Cherrapunji. "Arrive at the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and meet our representative. (Your arrival should be before 9-10 am). Next, we will take a photo stop at the Mawkdok View Point, a vantage point overlooking a V-shaped valley with lush green slopes on either side. You will then board your transfers to Cherrapunji. En route, visit Umiam Lake, located at the entrance of Shillong and surrounded by forest-covered Khasi hills. Further, travel on scenic mountain roads to reach Cherrapunji. Check-in to your hotel in Cherrapunji for an overnight stay."
Trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. "Have breakfast in the morning and prepare for an adventurous day. Today, we will head to Tyrna village to start our trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridges. With the help of a local guide, we will begin our trek through the forest and pass a number of bridges on the trail. Upon reaching the beautiful Double Decker Living Root Bridges, we will spend some time exploring and admiring this marvelous natural wonder. After sufficient time at the bridges, we will hike back up 3000 steps to return to the base village. By evening, you will reach Tyrna village and then board your transfer back to Cherrapunji. Arrive at your hotel in Cherrapunji for an overnight stay."
Cherrapunji to Shnongpdeng. En route Visit Mawlynnong. "After having your breakfast in the morning, board your transfer to Shnongpdeng. Our first stop for the day will be Nohkalikai Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya. Spend some time admiring the cascading waterfalls and listen to the heartbreaking story behind the name of the waterfalls. Further, head to Mawlynnong Village - the cleanest village in Asia - and explore around. Later, reach Shnongpdeng for an overnight stay."
Shnongpdeng to Shillong. Enroute explore Jowai. "Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast. Later, we will hit the roads for Shillong. You can then head out to indulge in some water activities in the Umngot River. Next, we will continue our road journey to Shillong and reach there by evening. On the way, we will also explore one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya - Krang Shuri in Jowai. Check-in to the hotel in Shillong for an overnight stay. You can spend some time admiring the cascading falls or just sit and relax by the blue water pool below the falls."
Departure to Guwahati. Enroute Visit Laitlum Canyon. "Have your breakfast in the morning and get ready to board your transfers. Before leaving for Guwahati, we will first visit the magnificent Laitlum Canyon. We will soak in the stunning views of the canyon and then head to Guwahati. Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey (Your flight should be after 4-5 pm). Bid adieu to Meghalaya, taking with you lots of cherished memories."
