Journey Between Badrinath and Kedarnath:
Arrive in New Delhi and then embark on a scenic drive to Haridwar. Upon reaching Haridwar, check into your hotel and settle in. In the evening, head to Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges. Enjoy a delightful dinner and relax with an overnight stay in Haridwar.
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and settle in. Spend the rest of the day exploring the charming town of Guptkashi at your own pace. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel or camp in Guptkashi.
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From there, embark on a 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You have the option to hire a Doli or a horse for the trek (cost not included). As you journey, you’ll be accompanied by fellow pilgrims chanting "Jai Bholenath," and the Mandakini River, a major tributary of the Ganges, will guide you through the landscape. The mist often shrouds the mountains, only to reveal the majestic, snow-capped peaks that seem to pierce the sky. Upon arrival in Kedarnath, check into the Government Camps or Lodges. Enjoy a simple dinner and an overnight stay in these basic accommodations (rooms are on a sharing basis, and meals are available separately).
Rise early before dawn, and after a refreshing bath, make your way to the Kedarnath temple by 4:45 am for the special 'Abhishek' ceremony to Lord Shiva. Devotees can enter the Garbha Griha (sanctum sanctorum) to touch the idol and offer their respects, including prostrating with your head touching the deity. After completing your darshan and puja, return to the Government Camps or Lodges. Later, begin your return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. Vehicles will be waiting for you at the Sonprayag Car Parking area for your drive back to your hotel or camps in Guptkashi. Enjoy a hearty dinner and a restful overnight stay in Guptkashi.
This morning, check out of your hotel and drive to Badrinath, passing through Joshimath. Enjoy the scenic Ghat roads on your journey, ensuring you cross Govindghat before 5:30 pm. Upon reaching Badrinath, check into your hotel and take some time to rest and refresh. In the evening, head to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) for a rejuvenating bath before proceeding to the Badrinath Temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple stands 15 meters tall, shaped like a cone with a gilt bull and spire adorning its apex. After your darshan, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
This morning, begin with a visit to the Badrinath Temple for your darshan. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast. Following your meal, embark on a local sightseeing tour around Badrinath, including a visit to Mana Village and the impressive Bheem Pul. In the afternoon, drive back to Rudraprayag via Karanprayag. Rudraprayag, a serene pilgrim town, is located at the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the town. End your day with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, begin the final leg of your Chardham Yatra journey by driving back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey.
