Notable peaks include Kanchenjunga (the third highest mountain in the world), Everest (the highest peak in the world), and numerous other high-altitude peaks.
  • Climate: The region features a variety of climates due to its elevation range. Lower areas experience subtropical conditions, while higher elevations see temperate and alpine climates. Weather can vary widely, from humid and warm in the foothills to cold and snowy in the higher altitudes.

Day 1 Arrive NJP Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (500Ft / 150Mts) will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, Check-in and over night at Hotel.

Day 2 Gangtok

After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Baba Mandir & Tshangu Lake - situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel. (In case of Land slide or any reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing). Overnight stay in Hotel at Gangtok

Day 3 Gangtok- Darjeeling

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts, 115 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 Darjeeling:

Early Morning:

  • Tiger Hills Sunrise Tour (Approx. 4:00 AM): Depart early for Tiger Hills to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Kanchenjunga Peak. (Subject to clear weather conditions.)

Enroute Back:

  • Ghoom Monastery: Visit the Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest and most significant Tibetan monasteries in the area.
  • Batasia Loop: Explore the Batasia Loop, a unique railway loop offering panoramic views of Darjeeling and the surrounding hills.

Morning:

  • Breakfast at Hotel: Return to your hotel for breakfast.

Half-Day Sightseeing Tour:

  • Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda: Visit the serene Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda, known for its tranquility and stunning views.
  • Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: Explore this zoological park, home to various high-altitude animals, including the red panda and snow leopard. (Closed on Thursdays.)
  • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, which showcases the history and achievements of mountaineering in the region. (Closed on Thursdays.)

Afternoon:

  • Darjeeling Ropeway Ride: Enjoy a scenic ropeway ride offering breathtaking views of the hills and valleys. (Ticket cost not included; approximately INR 180.00 per person.)
  • Tenzing and Gombu Rock: Visit the Tenzing and Gombu Rock, named after famous mountaineers Tenzing Norgay and Gombu.
  • Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center: Explore the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center to understand the cultural and craft heritage of Tibetan refugees. (Closed on Sundays.)
  • Panoramic View of Tea Estate: Take in the picturesque views of the lush tea estates surrounding Darjeeling.

Evening:

  • Return to Hotel: Head back to your hotel and relax after a day full of exploration.

Overnight:

  • Dinner and Overnight Stay: Enjoy dinner at the hotel and rest for the night.

Day 5 Darjeeling - Bagdogra Departure

After breakfast checkout of the hotel & Reach the Bagdogra Airport / Railway Station for your onward connection or way back home
