The Statue of Unity is a colossal statue located in the Indian state of Gujarat. It stands 182 meters (597 feet) tall, making it the world’s tallest statue. The monument is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a key figure in India’s struggle for independence and the country’s first Deputy Prime Minister.
Designed by Indian sculptor Ram V. Sutar, the statue is situated on the Sadhu Bet island in the Narmada River, near the Sardar Sarovar Dam. It was inaugurated on October 31, 2018, which marks the 143rd birth anniversary of Patel.
Arrive at designated reporting place and proceed to tent city Narmada. On arrival enjoy Kevadia Illumination tour and Sound and light show at the Statue of Unity.
Today visit "Iron Man of India". The Statue of Unity is the world's tallest statue at 182 metres (597 ft) of iconic leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Experience stunning view from Observatory deck. En-route visit Sardar Sarovar Dam and enjoy boating at Narmada River. Later enjoy valley of flowers and Jungal safari.
Morning proceed to Ahmedabad. On arrival visit Sabarmati Ashram - the home of Mahatma Gandhi. Later enjoy free time for shopping. Then we visit The iconic Atal Bridge - To feel the joy of walking above the river, we also pass by Kankaria Lake - one of the largest lake in Gujarat. Later visit Akshardham Temple.
Today proceed to visit the UNESCO site “Rani ki Vav” an intricately constructed step well located on banks of Saraswati river. It is one of the largest & most sumptuous structure of its type. It is known as QUEEN of all step wells in India. Later proceed to visit the marvellous Modhera Sun Temple.
Board the train / flight to your hometown. Tour Concludes.
