This fairy-tale city is renowned for its marble palaces and tranquil lakes, encircled by a ring of hills. The majestic City Palace dominates the skyline, overlooking Lake Pichola and its romantic island palaces. The lakefront is adorned with picturesque havelis, ghats, and temples, while the vibrant bazaars of the old walled city stretch behind them.
